7 Years and No Itching!!

To my bestest friend Fotaki Mou- I would marry you a billion times over and over again! Each year of being married to you intensifies my love and appreciation for you. I look forward to whatever life has in store for us!!

11 Years Later...

So today marks the 11th anniversary of our first date! We were (strictly colleagues) working together at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and Fotis told me he was going on vacation to spend time with his family and friends in Greece. I was kind of nervous that maybe he had an old flame (or GASP! FLAMES!) back in Nafpaktos, so I called him the night before he left and wished him a fun and safe trip. He said he would call me when he got back and we could get coffee and he would tell me about his trip. 3 weeks later when he returned, he called and asked me to dinner. I accepted and we agreed to meet at a great little place in Shadyside called 'The Balcony.' (Sadly, it has since been replaced with a Pottery Barn. Damn commercialization.) I was a little early and when I arrived, I saw that not only was he there before me, but he had a gift for me! We had a great meal and conversation and I thought to myself, "This guy is too good to be true!" Well, 11 years later (almost seven of marriage), a kid, a house, a cat and a million great times together- I still have to pinch myself sometimes!

FINALLY!!

Here are my two monkeys with Yia Yia on Halloween. Somebody had a fit when I put his monkey costume on, but these days he has a fit with any clothes you put on him. He got used to it and actually kept the hood up all night.

Matt and his Uncle Serdar. He met us at the mall to Trick -or -Treat. It was raining so we figured that we should stay indoors. 2 million other South Floridians had the same idea. Fun times.

This is the three of us last weekend when we Foti and I celebrated 6 incredible years together! He and I spent the whole day together (without the munchkin) and had such a great time. We had a wonderful dinner and got to focus soley on each other! It was just like old times- just the two of us- and it reminded me of the million reasons I fell in love with him over 10 years ago.

Party gals!! My friend Marisol (the smoocher on the right) had a party at her house 2 weekends ago for 3 of our friends and colleagues who were leaving our ER family.

I was the official Cosmopolitan mixer of the night. Yum- O!
