Our friends Amy, Rey, Madeline, and Sebastian are here in town visiting from Tennessee and we were so excited to hang out with them. Amy's parents invited us over for an incredible Irish meal last Saturday on St. Patty's day and yesterday Amy and I loaded up our munchkins in my Mom-Mobile and went to the Miami Children's Museum. We had such a fun day! The kids had a great time exploring, even Matt was crawling around all over sticking everything in his mouth (ewww). I was *so* looking forward to a nap when we go home in the afternoon, but I had to go pick up our car from the bodyshop (we had an accident almost a month ago- $7,0000 dollars in repairs later.... an accident which by the way was not my fault, thank you very much). Focus, Jess, focus. We had a great time with our friends and will miss them! Check out our pics:
Last weekend, all the girls from work took our friend Rosa out for dinner at Taverna Opa in Hollywood to celebrate her upcoming marriage to Gio. We had so much fun! The younger, crazier girls were dancing on the tables and the older Moms decided not to. Sadly, I am no longer a part of that young, crazy crowd. I am officially a member of the 'Suburban Mom Club'- which I am totally happy with, but it's funny to see how you change over the years and how different things appeal to you. Anyhoo, I digress- check out the cool pics below:
Matthaios started his first swim class yesterday! He did so well- we were so proud of him! The water was a little chilly and it was a little windy outside, but he did surprisingly well. He squealed and laughed most of the 30 minutes we were in the water. He put his face in the water and drank quite a bit (yuck!), but didn't seem to mind. Dad arrived from work half way through the class and caught us in action. Matt's friends Mia, Eva, Logan, and Gordon were there with their moms, too!

Last week we went to the St. Sophia Greek festival with our friends. We ate so much good food (although not quite as good as my Mother-in-law's food) and enjoyed the music and dancing. Matt tasted feta, lamb and a little bit of Greek red wine- he loved everything until we started to dance and he threw up on me!
