False Alarm

So we had another false alarm here in SoFla with Senor Ernesto. We were all prepared- bottled water, shutters up, tons of batteries and flashlights, gas in the cars and for the generator and we got NOTHING! Our Directv didn't even go out and it goes out all the time when it rains. Well, it was good practice anyway. I think this year we take the storms a little more seriously with the bambino and all!

Changes to Blogger
Ok, some of my friends and family have stated that they would like to leave comments on the blog without joining Blogger. You are now able to do so by clicking on 'anonymous' and leaving your comment. Only of course, if you say how damn cute my kid is and what good parents we are. :)

Momma's Got A New 'Do

Out with the old and in with the new! It was time, folks. I have come to the realization that long hair is beautiful on some women, just not me. Maybe if I had a stylist who lived with me and did my hair every morning, I might feel different. I feel so much better! Matt said he digs the new 'do. Whatcha think?

I SLEPT THROUGH THE NIGHT!
"So, I am a big boy now and I slept all night last night. Dad put me to bed at 8:30 and I didn't make a peep until 6:45 this morning! My mom panicked a little since I usually wake up around 3 or 4, but she checked on me and I guess I was still sleeping. I am a happy boy today. Why didn't anyone tell me about this sleeping through the night business before? I should have done this a long time ago! Mom is going to get her hair cut today. She has been a little bummed out lately and I think a new 'do will help her feel better. She said she'll post a pic of her new hairstyle later on today. Gotta run- I have some pooping and drooling to do. "

Mr. Cranky Pants
My poor baby had a fever today. He was not his usual self-he was quiet and didn't eat as much as he normally does. Momma gave him some tylenol when she got home and he was off to take a happy nap! Hopefully he'll feel better tomorrow...
The Krunchbar Family

Kami took some great photos of their trip to Miami. We especially like the ones of the two cutest boys ever. Check them out here.

Doctor Visit
Matt is all smiles before the visit to the pediatrician!
After, he is all tuckered out!Today, Matt had his 4 month check up at the pediatrician. She said he is healthy and age-appropriate. Yippee! She said to start feeding him cereal before his milk in the morning and vegetables before his milk in the afternoon. I can't wait to go to Whole Foods and buy him some good veggies! Yeah, I am planning on making his food for when we are at home- I don't mind giving him jarred food if we go out. He now weighs 15 pounds (50th percentile) and is 25 inches (50th percentile). He has more than doubled his birth weight (6lbs 5 ounces) and grown 5 inches. She also said his head circumference is normal (as opposed to his fathers head circumference when he was a baby which was poli megalo!). He cried for about 2 minutes after his immunizations, but was smiling by the time we left the office. His momma dosed him with a little tylenol and off to sleep he went!

Beach Baby

The Snap-Crackle-Pop-odopoulos and Krunchbar Families went to South Beach yesterday. The water was warm so we took the kiddo in for a swim. He cried a bit until a huge tsunami smacked him in the face, then he SCREAMED! He still wasn't into it later when we tried again. Oh well, he seemed to enjoy hanging out in the beach chair, watching all the topless babes go by.

Photo Session
My friend Rudi, a talented photographer, took these phots of Matt and I at her home. He was such a cutie! We had a fun time- I think these pictures capture that.

Four Months Old

Today, Fat Matt got his first little bowl of cereal and he seemed to like it. Each spoonful we gave him had a return of half a teaspoon, but it was successful nontheless. His little tongue has to get used to a different motion. How long until we start veggies and fruits? He told me he has a craving for sweet potatoes.
