Monday, Monday

On Saturday, Foti and I drove down to Long Key, which is about 100 miles south of Miami, for our friends Rosa and Gio's wedding. It was such a beautiful (albeit windy) evening. We had a great evening watching everyone else get drunk! We drove home that night and what else would happen to us at midnight but get a flat tire on 836 which was still jampacked with cars that late! I was sure we were going to be on the news the next day! I was so scared that we were going to be run over, but my handy husband changed the tire and we were home safely before 1 am. Whew!

Yesterday, we stayed at home during the day and in the evening we went for a walk on Ocean Drive and had dinner at Lario's on the Beach, a little Cuban place with the best Vaca Frita EVER! Matt is turning into a little cubano as he chowed down on some black beans and rice, sweet plantains, mariquitas, and vaca frita. He wanted nothing to do with his baby food!

Today, we both came home early as the boy had a fever of 104.4! He was so hot and flushed! He went to the doctor and has yet another ear infection. Poor booboo. He got antibiotics, tylenol and motrin, a cool bath and he was off for a happy nap. Hopefully he'll feel better when he wakes up!

I am exhausted and it's only Monday!
